This privacy policy describes how Money Mirror (“the App”) handles your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Data we store
Money Mirror is a personal finance tracking app. The data you enter may include, for example:
- Income and expense entries
- Categories, notes, and labels you create
- Basic app preferences (such as theme, currency, filters)
This data is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
2. How your data is used
The data you enter in Money Mirror is used only for:
- Displaying your transaction history and summaries
- Calculating balances, charts, and statistics inside the App
- Remembering your app settings and preferences
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your financial data with advertisers.
3. Data storage and sync
By default, all data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or reset your device, your data may be lost unless you have made your own backup (for example, through system backup or export features provided inside the App, if available).
Money Mirror does not automatically sync your data to our own servers. If future versions introduce optional cloud backup or sync, this policy will be updated accordingly.
4. Third-party services
The App may use third-party packages and libraries as part of its implementation (for example, for charts, file picking, or user interface components). These libraries run on your device as part of the App.
If we integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services in future, we will update this policy and clearly describe what is collected and why.
5. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request certain permissions on your device, such as:
- Storage / file access: to export or import data files, if you use those features.
The App only uses these permissions for their stated purpose and does not access data unrelated to the core functionality.
6. Children’s privacy
Money Mirror is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Your control over data
Because your data is stored on your device, you are in control of it. You can:
- Delete individual entries inside the App
- Clear the App’s data from your device settings
- Uninstall the App at any time
If you use any export or backup feature, you are responsible for storing and protecting those exported files.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
